Peering
PolicyOpen.
If we share an exchange, I'll peer with you. The basics have to be in order; the check below shows in a few seconds whether they are.
Do we share an exchange?
Fill in your AS number. The check uses public data from PeeringDB and RIPEstat, no login needed.
Requirements
- Your PeeringDB record is current.
- Your AS-SET covers what you announce.
- Your prefixes have ROAs.
- A NOC address that someone actually reads.
- Sessions over IPv6.
Where to peer
Every exchange with a tiemannite port. Addresses and port speeds are on the network page.
- ENS-IXEnschede
On the route servers at ENS-IX you already see my routes. A direct session is welcome on top of that.
Direct sessions on the exchange LAN only. No multihop, no tunnels.
How to request a session
- Log in to the portal with your PeeringDB account.
- Pick your network. You see the exchanges we share and the results of the checks.
- Tick the exchanges you want, and if you like, the ones we will share later.
- After approval the sessions show up in the portal with their live state.
Prefer mail?
Send it to noc@tiemannite.net with your ASN, the exchange, your address on that exchange and your expected max-prefix.
