Peering

PolicyOpen.

If we share an exchange, I'll peer with you. The basics have to be in order; the check below shows in a few seconds whether they are.

Do we share an exchange?

Fill in your AS number. The check uses public data from PeeringDB and RIPEstat, no login needed.

Requirements

  • Your PeeringDB record is current.
  • Your AS-SET covers what you announce.
  • Your prefixes have ROAs.
  • A NOC address that someone actually reads.
  • Sessions over IPv6.

Where to peer

Every exchange with a tiemannite port. Addresses and port speeds are on the network page.

On the route servers at ENS-IX you already see my routes. A direct session is welcome on top of that.

Direct sessions on the exchange LAN only. No multihop, no tunnels.

How to request a session

  1. Log in to the portal with your PeeringDB account.
  2. Pick your network. You see the exchanges we share and the results of the checks.
  3. Tick the exchanges you want, and if you like, the ones we will share later.
  4. After approval the sessions show up in the portal with their live state.

Prefer mail?

Send it to noc@tiemannite.net with your ASN, the exchange, your address on that exchange and your expected max-prefix.
